The most fun you can have on 4 wheels and register it for the street. No top AND removable doors means more open air than anything on the road other than motorcycles. Stone reliable, large aftermarket, the ORIGINAL. Too bad the Germans killed it. I think they're mad because the original jeep helped win WWII.

Pros: FUN!
Cons: Gas mileage

I bought my jeep YJ in october of 2007. Excellent quality, for an 88 I've made few repairs. Handles alright, quick on the wheel. Ownership costs are quite high, as I get about 12 mpg. However, this is an amazing vehicle to drive! If you're looking for something great for offroading, a Jeep Wrangler is perfect, vs. a cherokee.  Wranglers can get aorund tight spaces much better.

Pros: Compact, Looks good
Cons: Hard on gas, Bad on ice

Wanted a jeep since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Rides a little rough, but that's to be expected from an 'ol jeep.
