It's alright for a new age jeep. It's kind of lame though. Leather seats and a freakin' sun roof. LOL.

I have almost 5000 miles and still look forward to driving it. 26 to 27 mpg on the highway. People always tell me what a nice looking vehicle. It was almost impossible to find another vehicle in this price range with 4 wheel drive and all the safety features as standard fare. Did I mention disc brakes all the way around?  It doesn't break the bank when filling up, and has a 110v outlet on the console. Takes the mountains with ease, and still has reserve power. Although you won't accelerate from 0 to 60 in 6 seconds the 2.4 liter engine is adequate. If your looking for more power then don't consider this vehicle. IT IS AN ECONOMY SUV. But it will tow a small trailer on those excursions to the home center for some plywood or sheetrock, or a small boat for that weekend fishing trip. After driving a pickup for over 20 years this is a nice vehicle. The last few years the bed of the pickup was empty 95% of the time. Although relatively new, I expect to get years of dependablity from this vehicle. I would say this would be a great vehicle for those going off to college, a basic vehicle with air is relatively inexpensive. With the rear seats down there is plenty of storage room. Ample rear passenger seating and lots of leg room. A Sport 4x4 can be had for around $20000, if your not into offroading it isn't worth spending the extra money for the Freedom II package and all the little extras. For those concerned about the environment, it has an excellent rating for emissions.
