“I Wish They Were Still Around !. ”
I love the feel of the car and to feel like an overall race feeling with the exhaust just thundering underneath your seat as you drive 65 mpg down the highway , and lets face it it seems other cars are going slow when you drive by them , it seats low on mine because thats what i wanted and its whats in too. to feel my challenger glide down the road , and the looks and everybody gets its it wrong and say its a charger ,I always have to say no its a challenger , they are abousoluty clueless as to what it is . I also love that Im driving a classic and even with it being work in progress people still stare at my car , I like that just wait till its done then ask me about my car and I still will tell you I love it , I resurrected a classic and It will be with me and in my family even when Im gone . “My '74 Was The Hottest Car I Ever Owned.”
Sadly enough, I had a '74 Challenger, but when the l'il one came along, well, lets face it, this was no family car. Traded it in on a Olds 98 which was nice, but never satisfied me.
For the 23yrs I owned this car, I have driven it for 18yrs. The only time i have had to do repairs was for normal wear and tear. This car happens to be one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. Never had a breakdown,Never left me stranded. I still own this Vehicle today. Biggest regret, Family size grew and I bought a van, left challenger sitting in yard for 5yrs(in NY). Now in need of body work.
