Performance on this spec 190E is great, particularly on motorways. Ride quality is fabulous - very comfortable and very smooth, it soaks up bumps and is quieter that a lot of new cars, including my brothers 2007 Honda Accord.

Renowned for bulletproof reliability, this one has over 210,000 miles on the clock and still worries a LOT of much more modern cars for both straight line speed and handling (mine benefits from limited slip diff, sports suspension, wider factory alloys and 10in vented discs at the front).

Fuel consumption isn't great, but the noise, performance and comfort more than make up for it.

Pros — Reliability, performance, comfort
Cons — Fuel consumption

I absolutely love this car! Even though it is as old as
I am and has well over 300,000 miles, this car still
drives like a dream. Performance is as good as it
was when new and the build quality is phenomenal;
true German engineering. My only complaint is that
some of the seals are beginning to leak; in the
trunk mainly. Besides that, the interior is still in
great condition apart from a little sun-fading, and
the wood around the center console is cracked.
Exterior is basically perfect. A previous owner
backed into something and the bumper is pushed
in slightly, and recently a squirrel threw a pine
cone on the hood and left a dent (grrrr,...), but that
is the only flaws. As far as cost, gas mileage is
decent and it hasn't needed any major repairs. The
rear main seal does leak slightly, so a quart of oil is
needed every 500 miles, and with having to use
premium gas, the cost has just recently begun to
ware on me. Overall, this car is comfortable and
classic, and will continue to be so until only God
knows when. =]

Pros — comfortable, runs great, looks great!
Cons — premium gas only, slight rear main seal leak, minor issue with weather stripping in trunk.

just nice enough, nice shape, komfort, low fuel exspences, quality at it`s best, bad with rust, 83 model, did start to get old to fast, nice shape, really nice shape, it`s a good car to drive, I did  like it alot and I was`nt happy at all with sending it to the scrap jyard. Mileage was about 288.000 or something, maintenance nothing more than other cars I guess.

Pros — good to drive
Cons — not to many hp to knock in to the tabel with

190,000+ miles. It still gets well over 30mpg whenever I pull it out of the garage. Grey Market Lorinser 190E. Originally held a German Title. Oh yeah. It's an 84 model but for some reason Facebook has no provision for anything older than 90? odd?

2.3 8v, 4 speed manual. Truely a unique machine. Thanks for giving me first shot it when you let her go Mr. Ward! It will one day be resurected into something fitting.

Pros — It's an 84 German Built Lorinser modified 190e. The car was put together by Lorinser not some shop in the states that may or may not have a clue.
Cons — She needs a good going through.

just got car, has a wonderful inline 6 with tons oh pick up. has like 165 bhp stock.  has to meny features, its really the over engineered car, thats not a bad thing at all.  the fuel distrubition center is very mechincal and can be a pain if it ever goes out.

Pros — great inline 6, easy break jobs lol.
Cons — breaks always squeek, relay problems that arent very cheep to replace

My very first car. It was a 190E 2000cc model. A very standard black car with Grey interior. It has got a full Lorinser Bodykit, 18'' AMG Wheels and a mean AMG exhaust. The stereo was an upgraded Alpine stereo with CD Changer, coupled with MB Quart Speakers all round.

Pros — Very unique car. Mine was probably the only one around that looked the way it looked, with the bodykit and rims. Very reliable and never gave me any problems during the 9 yrs it was with me.
Cons — Expensive. Paid about $140,000 in 1990.
