Hey, could u run out and hit my headlight for me please?
I played mini speed racer in this car. It had a ton more room than I expected. It helped me build a lot of character and learn a lot about cars in general. I'd have to say that it had a Herbie complex in that it had a mind of it's own. I beat a mustang in it and it seemed to always know when I had extra money.
Pros: Fast, cute if you like the bubble look, very fuel effecient.
Cons: The amount of money it ate up, my drivers side headlight, the radio, oil consumption.

1998 Used Volkswagen Beetle 2 Dr STD Hatchback:
its fun to drive and pretty fast ,but its a bug.......
it drives really well but i take a lot of crap for owning it.
Pros: good sound system, ok quality, lots of room, and mildly fast for what people think.
Cons: bad car to own if your a guy and 17 years old..
1998 Used Volkswagen Beetle 2 Dr STD Hatchback:
Dream Come True
This is such a fun car to drive -- zippy as can be. As with most VWs, the plasticky interior is a bit cheap and shoddy - the dash is stupidly put- together (top dash panel clips broke during an AC/fan repair and are tough to replace) and the fabric on the ceiling is falling off. Even all the plastic molding and covers in the engine compartment are, in my opinion, unnecessary. Mechanically, the car is fabulous. I love it!
Pros: Clever styling, good handling and a contemporary chassis combine to make the New Beetle more than a remake of a good idea. It is a full-fledged, functional small car that overflows with the kind of whimsy and personality rarely found in cars today
Cons: The back seat lacks headroom, the dash is as deep as a minivan and the wide windshield pillars occasionally block your view around corners.

Cons: Lack of storage in the cockpit. Trunk is small but can handle a MTB with the rear seats down.
