Reviewing: 2001 Used Volkswagen Jetta GL TDi

This car is simply the most practical car on the market that will exceed 40 MPG. Wonderful German feel and build. Loads of torque from the turbo charged diesel engine. The engine is responsive and the handling feels solid. Plenty of interior space for a mid sized sedan, with a cavernous trunk.

Pros — One of the top MPG of any car on the road, and you don't have to drive in a tiny car. All the things people love about driving a German car.

Cons — It's a German car. It is not for anyone who likes to shy away from maintenance.

Reviewing: 2001 Used Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg Edition

Wolfsburg has a turbo charger. Dealship kept on refusing that there was something wrong.
I've driven other turbo charged vehicles so I know what a lag is. The lag was HUGE and it was
not corrected... since about six months into the lease.

Pros — Great when brand new.

Cons — Steep down hill after 6 months.
