2003 Used Volkswagen Passat GLX
A nice solid sedan. I had been driving 4wds for years so returning to the ground was hard as a short person! Unfortunately, it lacked the cargo space I needed for toting artwork to and from shows... so it had to go. I love VWs and would purchase another at some point in the future.
Pros —
Smooth, solid, stylish
Cons —
acceleration was a bit slow. car often felt heavy

It's just a good car. It looks good, but isn't too much of a head turner so I don't feel conspicuous. Had a sludge problem (so many of these do) but we change the oil regularly so it seems to be better now....

Great fuel economy, 2.0 20v turbo four cylinder. Plenty of get up and go. (especially these days!) Tiptronic shift for when you want to play around. German engineering, quiet, solid. Whatelse?
Pros —
Headlamps are outstanding. Doesn't need fog/driving supplement. Adjustable seat is a plus.
Cons —
Brakes wear sooner than some, (performance geared) No moonroof on GL model (i think anyway)
