2004 Volkswagen Golf Reviews

Performance=good for a diesel with the 140hp engine
Build Quality=is down frm the mk4 unfortunatly but still impressive
Appearance=Is better than previous model but is not as good looking as the astra
cost of ownership=bout average fuel economy is impressive
fun factor=not a f430 but it does put a smile on u face when u tear away from boy racers in clio's n corsa's

I hate the germans, but they build the best cars. I have owned lots of cars, but the best ones i have owned have all been german, with the exception of a Mazda 323 which was a very good reliable car.

Fun, reliable and with today's economy, affordable. This is my seventh Volkswagen and I still love them. My Golf is spotless and I want to keep it that way. Will be doing branches and pipe soon as well as gas flowing and balancing. Should be a lot more fun then.

Whilst this is a company car and actually a 2.0ltr GTD I did have a hand in chosing it.

The handling its great, it has 17" rims and sticks to anything.
Had some problems with the engine in the first year which VW sorted.
Interior is a bit bland, the new GTD has full leather as standard, when I got mine it was an extra and expensive!
Overall a very nice car.

I have had several problems with this car since the beginning.
