2005 Volkswagen Passat Reviews
“Family Cruiser”
Nice to drive, good level of luxury for the money, fits my kids, my wife and all associated gear!
38mpg on B99 biodiesel, good economy, great handling, pretty good tradeoff. Stock stereo
is mediocre, seats are okay
Love the interior and the handling of this car. I am an owner of a 3/4 ton Chevy and a Suburban and driving such big vehicles for years makes me appreciate being able to drive this car when I just want to go to the store bymyself or with my family and not ever having to always down at the fuel gage.
Everything about the Passat exudes excellence—whether it's construction quality, ride comfort, civilized performance or passenger accommodations. As for value, a Passat behaves and feels much like an Audi, for a notably lower price. Acceleration is more than ample—even brisk—with an manual transmission and the 1,9l TDI engine.
“The Last Of The Old Model.. 4 Motion 130 Hp Tdi”
On this car VW had done some nice improvements.
The car was 99% flawless for the 50.000 km I drove it.
The only issue was the GPS system. Both the antenna and the navigation unit
had to be changed. (antenna twice).
The interior was nice, the engine performance superb, and the 4x4 system was Audi
quality!
Good seats, fresh performance and plenty of space.
