fun to drive, but impossible to work on.
This is the first foreign made auto I've ever owned. Although I like driving it, parts are expensive and there isn't much you can do yourself.
Pros: good gas mileage, good handling
Cons: expensive parts, hard to work on

2006 Used Volkswagen Beetle 2.5L Convertible:
so far so good
My wife and I owned a 2000 cyber green turbo hatchback before getting this on and loved it. This has been good so far. I like the convertible, but miss the turbo and the 1.8l motor.
2006 Used Volkswagen Beetle 2.5L:
Excellent Vehicle. Safest in it's size.
2 door New Beetle, Royal Blue, 2.5L, 6 Speed Automatic with tiptronic, 5 Cylinder in-line, Power Glass sunroof, Monsoon Mp3 System, Built in Subwoofers, 6 Disk changer, Heated leather seats, Anti-Intrusion Beams (designed to absorb and redirect energy upon side impact), Automatic door locks, Heated Washer Nozzles, Integrated Mirrors, Round Shape (gives added strength and rigidity for safety, Third Break light.
Pros: Mileage (City:23, HWY:31). Maximum torque (manufactured): 170@ 3,750. (Plan to get the chip tuned for better performance). Compression ratio 9.5:1, HP 150 (Manufacturer), Transmission: Digital electronic, with two knock sensors.
Cons: Only 2 door.
