Lots of space, nice handling - love to drive it.

Crikey, another diesel.  But at least this one has 170bhp which means it does go rather well, old chap.  And talk about torque, 'cos its got loads of that as well.  Any speed, any gear, put your foot down and off it goes; it will spin the wheels in 2nd gear in a straight line.  And it goes around corners and everything.  Ok, so it's not quite the Gti but it's not a country mile away.  And it makes for more of a low-key motor, which I like.

Surprisingly, it also has more passenger room than the A4 Avant.

Note to self: now diesel prices have gone doolally must get myself a proper car next time.
