I love the Prices! Cheaper than buying a used VW! I'm already use to the Golfs. I feel very comfortable in. I know how to really use it, (if you know what I mean). VW has also proven that you can many years out of them which I need to save for my expensive life a head of my self. I trust the car and I can go far with it out it costing too much at the pumps. I recommend it to anyone who needs a car to get them A to B with low costs!
Pros —
Cheap car! Solid/Safe, Small, fun.
Cons —
Not the fastest thing on four wheels, not a diesel.

Got the opportunity to drive one of these beauties the other day. Loved every second of it. It's light, quick and unbelievably smooth. You need a feather light foot on the pedal to get this thing to do the speed limit. Anymore and this thing is gone! The smell of dead cow as you open the door from all the leather seats. Only let done was the plastic interior. Very grim and for the price of them you expect better.

| “2007 Gt 170”
Crikey, another diesel. But at least this one has 170bhp which means it does go rather well, old chap. And talk about torque, 'cos its got loads of that as well. Any speed, any gear, put your foot down and off it goes; it will spin the wheels in 2nd gear in a straight line. And it goes around corners and everything. Ok, so it's not quite the Gti but it's not a country mile away. And it makes for more of a low-key motor, which I like.
Pros —
Well built, quick, practical.
Cons —
Not a Ferrari.

Even though it is a 1.9 diesel, it is still a lot of fun to drive, and fairly fast.
