2000 Used Saturn L-Series 4 Dr LS Sedan
This has been a great car. Bought it with 10 miles and it now has over 175k miles and has now been passed on to my daughter as I feel it is reliable and safe enough for her. Have only had to perform regular maintenance. Had to have the transmission redone around 150k. Grandparents have had Saturns, husband had a Saturn. Been very reliable.
Pros —

a/c has never been real cold

I dislike that it seems everytime I turn around something else is wrong with it. I've spent more in repairs than I have in actual payments and it's very frustrating. I like the look and design of the car, just not the overall quality. The car gets great gas mileage and that is the biggest reason for keeping it around.

to be a saturn this car has alot more power than i expected. it has a v-6 with a twin cam in it and will deffently get up and go. it gets pretty good gas mileage and the maintenance is pretty easy. i love my car it is the best car i have owned.

2000 Used Saturn L-Series 4 Dr LS1 Sedan
Bought at a Used Car dealership, it was my first (of two) cars. It had some issues, probably cause it was a used car (broken headlights, electrical problems with lights). It had great gas mileage (probably up to the 30/mpg), but that was probably the greatest thing about it.
Pros —
Great gas mileage, gets you where you need to go.
Cons —
Felt like I was driving a tin can. Just not a good match.

It's an okay car! I bought it 3 years ago and haven't had a whole lot of problems. Sometimes when I don't have air or heat on and I stop at a light it acts like it's going to die! And then today I noticed a strange signal light come on! Looks like an arrow pointing down towards water or a mountain top, it's weird! |
