2001 Saturn L-Series Reviews
| “Good Car, But Recent Questionable Noise” Reviewing:
2001 Used Saturn L-Series 4 Dr L200 Sedan
The Saturn L200 has served our family very well since 2001. recently we have experienced some noises and lower performance which the Saturn dealership in Paramus, New Jersey has been unable to deal with. First the key wouldn't turn properly and they accused my wife of basically not knowing how to turn a car on. Now the noise I described and they seem clueless. I don't know if the service is kidding and don't want to do the work or if they are truly as ignorant as they claim. Either way is not too promising.
Pros —
Love the car, the gas mileage, the handling.
Cons —
Key sometimes doesn't turn. Strange grinding noise on occasion

It made a lot of strange noises, and, well, I just can't have a GM. I inherited it through marriage.
Pros —
Won't ever rust, alright engine, fairly balanced car
Cons —
It's a Saturn, sorry, um... highway noise, the panels don't fit in the winter, the frame is all that's left if you leave in near a heat source.
