2006 Pontiac GTO Reviews
| “Awesome 2006 Pontiac Gto!” Reviewing:
2006 Used Pontiac GTO Coupe
This is the car I've been looking for!! I'm always going to love Pontiac, and the GTO is the best looking, fastest, and just a great car. With 400hp, and the LS2, 6.0L engine, not many others can even compare. The impulse blue color and blue interior is awesome, and all the little details make it even better. Only two years old, so I got a great deal on it, and I'm going to just baby this like I did my Grand Am. Awesome to drive, turn the tunes up and just cruise around town! :)
Pros —
6.0L engine with 400hp, great color inside and out, strong build, and overall just amazing!
Cons —
Nothin' bad at all!

| “Gto-a Best Kept Secret” Reviewing:
2006 Used Pontiac GTO Coupe
There has been a lot of disinterest in the GTO since it was reintroduced in 2004. They criticized it for its lack of retro styling like the new generation Mustangs. People called it a "Cavalier on steroids." Some say it isn't "American" enough to be called a GTO.
Pros —
The seats are amazing! It has four bucket seats in the front and back. They are probably the most comfortable seats I have ever experienced in a car. Of couse, it is powerful enough to bring a smile to your face even on a bad day. It also has a great Blaupunkt sound system with a 6-disc CD changer. The ride quality is remarkably smooth and quiet, which is quite different than what you will get with any of this car's closest competitors.
Cons —
Gas prices are going to be a bit shocking with this car. With the 6speed manual, it gets decent fuel mileage for a big V8. It will get between 20 and 23mpg on the highway depending on how fast it is driven. If driven frequently in the city, it will get between 15 and 17. I average between 18 and 19 on mine and I drive in the city and highway in fairly equal measures. The only other complaint I have is that the doors are fairly heavy and awkward to open sometimes

The power(of course) - the handling, and although most people say it's "too plain" , or, "it looks like a big Cavalier", I say give me the sleeper look any day of the week!

| “Tons Of Power” Reviewing:
2006 Used Pontiac GTO Coupe
Though the car may look like a grand Prix on steroids, looks can be deceiving. Rev the motor to 6500 and pop the clutch in first gear, the car barks, hooks, then pins you back in the leather Recaro seats as the LS7 roars. Truly not for the faint of heart. great sound system in the car, though the one I drove had Bose components in it.
Pros —
tons of power, TCS and ABS works really well. LS7 is a badass choice of motor for the car. attention grabber, No V6 version available.
Cons —
ugly as hell, Not a true American car (it's a Holden Manaro in GTO clothing), gas guzzler, no V6 version available.
