Runs great at 160,000 miles. Solid.
Pros:
Underestimated quickness, handles like a car, comfortable ride.
Cons:
Thirsty (even when driven conservatively), many rattles, spare tire takes up 1/4 of the luggage compartment

This SUV will give you serious transmission issues after you get up into the higher millage. We had to replace the front hubs on it a lot because the ball joints broke down quick. High cost to maintain as well.
Pros:
It does have a good cargo space if you fold the seats down
Cons:
Transmission and eletrical bugs

Seems like anything that shouldn't go wrong has. Repairs would hae been high if I didn't have a warranty. Never had a steering box wear out on a vehicle, when it had 50000 miles. Four wheel drive is finicky. Cannot rely on it working. Had the common "orange coolant" damage to intake.

always starts
Cons:
expensive to own, numerous repairs

I love our 2001 Jimmy.It handle's nice and still comfortable.
Pros:
handles nice,brakes good,lots of power,and has 4x4 if needed.
Cons:
Wheel bearings go,alum rims are the pits,and need adjustable head-rest(front-back).

Bought used with 26000 miles in 2004. Since then, replaced almost everything. All ball joints, both front wheel bearings, one twice. New steering box. New oil cooler lines. Brakes twice. Alternator and the most recent... intake gaskets, radiator, parking brake assembly, and both door hinge pins.
Pros:
Good when it's not broken
Cons:
Breaks way too much
