2004 Ford F-150 Heritage Reviews
| “Silver Bullet” Reviewing:
2004 Used Ford F-150 Heritage 2 Dr XL Standard Cab LB
I love the sleek design, it is a good size truck and keeps the heritage design. (Not the rough corners, nice and smooth). I have a long bed that I bought a shell for. It's like driving around a small apartment! The V-8 engine is great for blowing by the Honda's (not my favorite), and I can see what the driver is sipping on...The only problem I have is my truck gets 12 m.p.g. ugh!
Pros —
Great towing.
Cons —
Low m.p.g.

| “Still A Good Model Even Though The New Ones Are Out” Reviewing:
2004 Used Ford F-150 Heritage 4 Dr XLT Extended Cab SB
I just recently bought a used '04 F150 Heritage with the 4.2LV6 and the 5 speed manual tranny. At first I was a little hesitant because of the size of the truck and then pop the hood and there is that little motor, but it quickly proved itself. I used it to move from Pennsylvania to Florida. I had my motorcycle in the bed and I was also towing the larger uhaul trailer loaded down. Over the mountains it got a little sluggish and I had to downshift, but a 5.4L with the auto would have done that too. Once the hills were behind me I was doing 75mph and still got 14mpg. I tend to get a new vehicle more often than the next guy, but I think I will be holding on to this one for quite a long time.
