2006 Ford Taurus Reviews
| “Driver's Ed Car” Yes..... I did drive one of these. It was my Driver's ed car which at the time was the best car I'd ever driven. ;) Believe it or not, this car is actually not that bad. Not the most powerful or best performing car but hey it was a driver's ed car. It's acceleration is better then you would think (It's just because students are afraid to get on it). The brakes of course would have to be good, even the passenger seat has a brake pedal or at least it did in the one I drove. ;) And it's a very stable (I say to stable) car. As for the way it looked. It looked like an average every day car, kinda boring.
Pros —
It's performance is better than I expected.
Cons —
It's a ford.

2006 Used Ford Taurus SE
Decent ride, Midsize has plenty of room for fighting children in the back. Classic Taurus styling throughout. Nothing fancy, just a practical car that gets you where you want to go. I actually have a 2007, which was a fleet car at one point. It had 32000 miles on it and it was broken in quite well when I purchased it.
Pros —
Decent ride, cheap insurance
Cons —
Nothing to fancy

| “A Great Ford Car” Reviewing:
2006 Used Ford Taurus SE
For a Ford, it's not really that bad of a car. It handled really well and I liked it. Of course it was only a rental until my Sunfire got fixed. The performance was great but maybe it's because I haven't drove any other 2007 cars yet, but my friends tell me it's almost the same with other cars. It might be the most driven car in America but I can clearly see why!

2006 Used Ford Taurus SE
I bought this car wrecked and i am in the process of fixing it up. It will be for sale immediatly after i am done. It has the 3.0 and 41,000 miles and it pretty plane jane. It does get good gas mileage but i hate FWD and V6 vehicles so it has to go. I will probably be asking around $7500 for it but not sure yet. It depends on how much its going to cost me to fix it in the long run.
Pros —
Good on Gas
Cons —
its just a taurus

It has almost no engine, the handling and amount of space avilable in the car is excellent. It is cheap, and an excellent first car for me.
Pros —
cheap, good body
Cons —
no horse power, bad acceleration

| “It's A Good Everyday Driver” Reviewing:
2006 Used Ford Taurus SE
We bought this to rack the miles up, it's purely a commuter. It gets great gas mileage, not
Pros —
Gas mileage, price
Cons —
Fit and finish, potential reliability issues

| “An Absolutely Shocking Car!” Reviewing:
2006 Used Ford Taurus SE
I had the misfortune of having one of these as a hire car last year. The one I was given had a fairly low mileage on the clock but felt like it had been severely abused. The steering wheel was off centre and the handling felt borderline dangerous. The steering was unresponsive and it felt underpowered too.
Pros —
Roomy and quite comfortable.
Cons —
The way it drives, build quality and poor performance. Fuel economy isn't too good either/

Cons —
Ford and horrible visibility.

I have had two things go wrong with the car. The car would not turn over one morning. And the Distance to Empty does not read right on my message control board. |
