1995 Used Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 2 Dr Laramie SLT Standard Cab SB
This body style ram was first introduced in 1994 and is responsible for most the pickups on the road today. before this truck all trucks were boxy, boring, and underpowered. After the intorduction of the 94 ram Ford and Chevy had to step up their game. Better MPG than my 4 door ram! Faster and equipped with a manual transmission. Also i've upgraded the engine with CAI, headers, and custom exhaust. The performance is great! very fast. very fun to drive. Looks amazing with the sport package that i put on it. truck has the 318 (5.2L) engine with 157k miles and runs great. have on occasion towed excess of 10k trailers.

It's a great truck, a strong runner, best truck I ever owned so far. It had 170K on the odometer when I bought it, I've driven it to Alabama from Wyoming and put nearly 30K on it since then, hasn't given me any engine trouble whatsoever.

This pickup has gone through it's paces a few times and has not let me down yet.
Pros —
Very strong motor when fresh but at 200,000 miles pulling on a farm all of its life it is starting to get weak.
Cons —
The transmission has not held up to the abuse nor the second.

The truck has been great all around with little money put into it. I have no complaints Has payed for itself over and over.
Pros —
Love the 318, easy to work.
Cons —
Bad tranny, has been slipping for several years, but she still going.

| “The Green Monster” The Truck is great. Breaks are, like most older trucks, a bit soft. But once you get used to them it's a piece of cake. The truck eats gas like none other. I think right now i'm getting about 11-12 mpg. I haven't modified too much to the truck; I've got dual pair of glaspacks on the back and a new trani, thermostat, header and a water pump.
Pros —
Great for hauling things, getting around in the snow and ice wit that 4WD.
Cons —
Taking people around in the snow and moving everyone's stuff. Gas

It handles really good. The brakes are good but you have to push really hard. The acceleration is really good. That could have to do with the fact it has a V8 engine in it. It doesnt have a back seat to it though and the gas is horrible it gets roughly 12 m/g. The hood isnt painted it was primered and never finished. It has lifts so it looks more like a 2500 than a 1500. The drivers side doesnt have an air bag anymore. And it used to have a camper shell but that flew off when my brother was driving it. Oh and the passanger side doesnt latch all the way so it could open up on you at any time but that was somewhat fixed. Overall its a work truck and nothing more really.

Its great for hauling things.
Cons —
Gets 12 m/g.
