“First Love”
Beautiful truck, could take pretty much everything you would throw at it, suspension was great, however there were some mechanical issues. The O2 sensor failed and the transmission had some issues. Otherwise it was great.

Nice large truck capable of anything.
The large 360 cu.in. V8 needs nothing except maybe a straw to dringk thorugh. Otherwise it gulps gas.
love the semi look. been waiting to get one since they came out. always have been a mopar guy. 360 kicks butt have a 87 dakota aswell.
great work trucks.i haul a lot of metal and does the job and doesnt strain on heavy loads. handles really well and a good turning radius.
i think that the cup holder is cheasy and the corners of the windhield should have been narrower. but overall i love it.one more thing the knobs on the heater control should be made more durable. went to the salvage yatd to get two and not less than 5 minuts later a lady came in and needed the same ones aswell. coincadince?
I have had this thing since 1997. Has 111,647 and still running strong... Great Truck all
