1998 Used Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 4 Dr ST Extended Cab SB
Was a solid running truck, motor wise, suffered from two common dodge problems, rust on the bottom of the doors, and the infamous transmission issues. Cost of ownership on the truck was very high, as it only had the 318, and averaged around 11mpg -16mpg (on a good day). other than that a good truck, towed our 24' rinker boat with a tiny bit of problem, but not bad

fun truck to drive
Cons —
expensive to maintain, expensive transmission which commonly failed in these trucks, door rust

1998 Used Dodge Ram Pickup 1500 4 Dr Laramie SLT Extended Cab SB
I love my truck! It has over 230K miles on it and runs great. Original motor and trans! Very dependable and rugged. Bed is very beat up from previous owner. This truck has a 360 C.I. engine (5.9L) and is a beast. It is equipped with MSD ignition, CAI and Flowmaster muffler (LOUD). Regularly tows 5k pound boat trailer and much more. Loves to eat gas! 12-13 MPG. This truck is very versatile being a pickup, but it also seats up to 6 people. Very fun truck and as a side-note it has been stolen and used in a robbery in the past.
Pros —
Pulling trees out by the roots, the look on the guy's face in the new silverado after i lay the smack down on him.

Engine was blown out at just over 60k miles. Great power while it lasted though. Ride was comfortable. Not much leg room in the back. Plenty of room in the bed of the truck for whatever. Not a truck that i would purchase again. Maybe if it was free i would take it.

I love my truck. Ive put a good hundred hours of work into it, inside and out. Gas mileage is ok, if i drive normal but i speed. Even though its only 2wd, ive taken it offroad and gotten stuck in 3 foot deep hole. The door scraped the ground as i got out (couldnt see the hole by the way). Had a friend who came and literally jerked me out of the hole. Not a scratch on my truck.

the steering is ok not the best truck i ever drove. it tends to move back and forth in the lane and doesnt hold speed very well up small inclines

The high performance ehaust that screams, 6 inch lift with 35s, custom graphics, dvd/cd player poundin with dual 12" sub pretty much says it all.O and about 8 mpgs lol
