I love the truck but its about to turn 100 soon and will
definitely become the work truck instead of the
normal ride soon enough. You gotta love that 4x4 and
also the 32 inches of rubber.  With some after market
step rails the body still looks pretty clean besides
some rust here and there and a few dings.  Besides
that there is nothing I rather be in then a big ole
truck!

Pros: Starts like a champ.. never had a problem
Cons: Tie Rods.. I just thinks its the make but I seem to be bustin those things all the time

Its got great handling and braking.  The acceleration is great for a 4.6l v8.  i wish it was a 5.4 but what can you do.
I did have to do a few repairs on it over the past few years.  The sway bar endlinks did rust through and have to be replaced for like $20. The rear diff got water in it and need to have the fluid changed (dont forget friction modifier!), which was due to pilot error ( don't submerge the back half of your truck in water to pull out a boat...) and brake torque burnouts do put enough to stress on your car to eventually break your u-joints.  I have had a problem with a squeak in the suspension in the front passanger side.
Inside of the car looks great with the 50th aniversary leather seats.   Outside is a bit scratched up from hunting, but looks good after a wax, especially the 4x4 emblems on the sides.
Although it costs a pretty penny to drive, with 10 - 12 mpg but if you need a truck, its a good one.
Its tons of fun to drive, on and off-road. handles great in the mud if you got 4x4.

Pros: its nice and quiet for when your sneakin onto a farmers land at 6 AM to hunt. Also great for towing and hauling stuff
Cons: mpg is kinda low

It's pretty sporty for a 4x4 pickup. It has a lot of spunk and quick reaction time. I wouldn't recommend it in quick turning situations at high speed though, it's heavy in the front and light in the back so it's handling is not so good. However, it is EXCELLENT in the snow and in 4-wheeling expeditions! It's got good clearance and it runs great all the time as long as it has working spark plugs and wires :P It doesn't leak oil on the driveway even after 170,000+ miles! It starts up smoothly as well. I've never had to worry about it much as long as I keep in maintained well enough.

Pros: It's fun, reliable, and usefull
Cons: high mileage?

this truck was given to me by my dad as an everyday truck for high school. It gets alright highway mileage but it doesn't have enough power to get up larger hills. the torque is good and it is a fairly light truck to bomb around in.

Pros: it looks nice polished up, sounds like a v8 for the most part
Cons: hard on fuel because of little power, v6, crap tranny

It's a truck, pulls good on the flat, drives like a truck, accelerates like a truck, stops like a truck, looks ok, cheap interior but it works. If you keep your foot off of the floor boards it actually gets decent gas milage. nuff said.

Pros: Runs like a champ
Cons: With the 4.6 it's a little weak towing in the mountains

Thsi truck is still alive and running strong, on the original clutch!! Ford knows how to make trucks. I lowered the rear suspension with a hangar in order to level out the truck's look. Towing capacity sucks, but after I put the SVT wheels on it, I didn't want to tow squat!

Pros: This thing wont die!
Cons: basic, rollup windows.

All around great truck, however it was in a sort of leap year for lug patterns, and it is hard to find any rims with the 5 on 135 pattern. However the 5.4 well makes up for this in power and torque. The overhead cam and bullet proof block make it a power house for this little body. However the Mass air flow sensor is crap. Pure crap.

Pros: Power, pretty, good options, power everything, can tow, milage is good for a truck
Cons: lug pattern, mass airflow sensor, restrictive slow for air induction

---Preformance---

Acceleration-Slow to get to 60 mph but thats the nature of a four speed auto with a 4.8 liter 289 cu after 60 she gets up and can go in a quarter mile startin at fifty ive been able to get to 93 mph.

Brakes- Brakes are softer than some but i rather them be that way it helps espicaly when brake checkin people who ride your ass

Handling- Its alright around corners for a 4x4 truck but smooth ride for the most part.

---Build Quality---

Only repairs needed was when i rammed it in to a tree other than that just regular matinence. Replaced the bearings over summer of 08 and rehung the exaust system.

---Apperance---

Interior-Grey, Cloth Seats, Replaced stock Raido/cassette player with a Pioneer CD player and have a 500 Watt amp pushin a 10" sub and 2 3" Bass Tubes. Power Windows with manual seat ajusters.

Exterior- Flare/Step side bed, Tinted windows, Billet Grille to replace stock Grille, LUND Cowl induction hood scoop, Custom raido antenna, Magnet Mounted CB antenna Step pipes and Bed Pipes, Dual Chrome Exaust Tips with Flow Master Muffler.

---Cost of Ownership---

13 MPG With my Bat Outa Hell style on back roads but with normal driving 15-18 MPG normaly. and maintenance is just your standard Oil change Spark Plugs ect...

---Fun Factor---
Its Not the biggest truck or the fastest but she aint no Bitch. You can go muddin cruise down the strip, park under the stars out in the back country carry up to 5 othe people (legaly) haul what you need its Fun and Versitile

Pros: 4x4 Truck with a V8 Need I Say more
Cons: MPGs and Motor Size id rather Have bigger but ill settle for what i got.

Poor gas mileage and lacking in power of newer models. My 5.4L has performance below current 4.6L with gas mileage worse than current 5.4L.  Bad squeak in front end. Chinsy interior but good seats, no reason why it doesn't have the fourth door.

Pros: Good all around truck
Cons: Poor interior quality.

The F-150 is my favorite truck for the 80's and 90's, but I sure am liking the looks and power of the latest Toyota Tundras.  My F-150 is one mean machine, but it has still seen more than a fair share of trips to the mechanic.

Pros: Good looking and Powerful
Cons: Eats gas like crazy
