These cars have so much potential to be modified and just have the true proformance pulled from them. also you can inter change alot of different parts and even chevy engines. I would have a twin turbo 7 speed manual m3 in a silver or m3 blue and be pushing close to 680 hp

Great performance and handling sports car with all the creature comforts one could want or need in a day to day car. The SMG gearbox took some getting used to, but seemed to work well. Although the gear change when set on super fast was somewhat rough. I never tried out the launch control which apparantly worked like a bomb, killed your rear tyres though. I did switch off the traction control to get her sideways on many occations which took a few km off the tyres as well. Really miss her.

Front disc breaks moaned and shuddered under hardish breaking

| when i drove it i feel so happy actually i couldn't thing anything because it's my dream...of course there are more cars powerfull than it but it's my how can i explain, i learnde to drive a car with BMW and my first car was E30 3.23i, because of that M3 is different than other cars for me:))

Awesome car worth every penny. Unbelievable performance from a small engine and very nimble handling.

Lightning quick, beautiful.

Everything is expensive on it, hundred dollar oil changes, expensive tires, just a costly car.

Nicest looking color combo for the M3 imo... Alpine white / Imola red. This 2006 is rock solid and tight as can be. The 6 speed manual is head and shoulders better than the SMG I had in my 2003. Bluetooth is a nice feature that's been added also. All in all, I really enjoy this car.
Pros —
Handling, good looks, quality, and sweet revving motor.
Cons —
I don't get to drive it enough.

| “Somewhat Edgy Car Catered Towards The Performance Oriented Individual.” It is a very tight package of performance and luxury. The engine and transmission are very sensitive depending on the transmission. This can be annoying to the average driver. I like it.
Pros —
Fast, tight chassis, controllable oversteer.
Cons —
Half of the people that drive it don't care about its performance. =(
