If you're in the market for one... get it with the sport package... you can pick one up in decent condition with 120k miles on it for about $4500.  Plus... my mileage is about 16.5 in the city... but 25 on the Freeway

Pros — Horsepower, Torque, steering and ride
Cons — Transmission just blows goats... they last about 90k miles if you're lucky

If only the '94 models came with a manual transmission...

Pros — Power, acceleration, loads of high-end torque
Cons — emission control system always acts up in cold weather

Can look gorgeous in black with factory bodykit and massive BBS alloys. Needs to be lowered (more front than back) otherwise looks odd. Confortable and well equiped. But perfomance poor, no torque. No M5 automatic or Jag XJR

Pros — Can look great, nice auto box
Cons — poor acceleration, high fuel consomation

Beautiful feat of German engineering with the classic pre-Bangle curves and muscle.

The four litre V8 roars to life when you put your foot down, but is fairly easy on the petrol when cruising.  Passing on two lane NZ roads is a breeze.  Solid handling in and out of corners.

Full leather interior with wood trim.  Electronic adjustable driver and passenger seats, sunroof, power windows, air conditioning, factory BMW alarm with double locking doors and shatter sensors in the windows, aftermarket Pioneer CD/iPod stereo.

16" E39 wheels wrapped in Michelin 225s.

Pros — Looks good, feels good, drives well
Cons — Parts and service expensive, getting old and tired, running on 98 gets pricey

I love the style of this car.  It's sporty, has great grunt, yet let me fit two kids with car seats in the back.

It's got 170k and still going.  I've got some niggly problems with it, but the engine is still strong.

Pros — Fast family sedan
Cons — Burns through suspension bits
