Questionable looks but unquestionable ability. The 530D will top 150mph and still return 50mpg! Use the slightly clunky gears to propel yourself on a wave of torque in the slightly awkward driving position! It is utterly composed through corners, not the oversteering beast I thought it might be. Acres of room in the back and a decent sized boot too. And people dont want to spit at you or call you a facist because its not a stockbroker wannabe 3 series either....

Mechanically sound. Lots (and I mean lots) of little things go wrong - poor trim, door seals replaced x 3, noisy sunrood, electronic problems, irritating and cheap interior (cupholders - aaaagggghhh). Better value out there for less money. I've driven BMW for over 10 years but this will be the last.

This car is beautiful!  It rides very smooth and is incredibly comfortable.  The only reason I traded it in was because I felt it was a bit too big, but then again I am pretty small.  Very spacious and elegant.
