Basically an awesome car. Powerful, fast, confortable, high-tech, looks beautiful, finish is perfect, amazing handling, good trunk space, 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds, satellite radio, room for 4 adults easy, easy to drive, german performance, tinted windows, sensitive braking, 300hp, 300lbs torque, twin turbo, ...
Basically, there is no competition in its class. It's director competitor would be the nissan 350z, with a smaller engine, not as much torque, not as fast, not as much room, ...
Gas mileage around 18mpg, a bit low

Pros — Everything
Cons — Gas mileage a bit low

Certainly not the typical commuter car.  Smooth and quiet ride, but has the much needed pep in its step to be entertaining.  Not the fastest car that I have owned, but certainly the best all around car.  Will see how well it does this winter.
All of the options that you would expect are readily available at your finger tips.

Pros — Power & finesse
Cons — Tight backseat for adults

Bought new and really enjoyed it from day 1.  Brilliant
engine and fantastic german quality. The power down
through the rear is of the highest quality and the
traction and stability control keep you out of the trees.
Good value for money and great fine to drive in all
conditions.

Pros — Engine
Cons — Not M3 fast but very good. Run flats are worst feature.

bought one of the first gen for this new mondel E92. had alot of lil problems...but overall the engine makes up for all of that. 300hp is NICE! car handles great. Body is sexy and i feel pretty safe in the car. sound system is killer too..unlike the older BMW models

Pros — Fast, comfortable, great handling, sexy body
Cons — lil kinks and small problems

Astonishingly fast!!! Perfect sound, perfect engine, better fuel mileage than the 330i which has 40 less HP. The performance is amazing, you just have to push a little bit more on the gas pedal and then, wow, you've launched a rocket! The only inconvenient for the EU is the lack of equipment of the standard version...

Pros — Power, full torque available at anytime, sound, fuel mileage
Cons — Price, interior

Love the twin turbo's and you know it's been made by Germans...  not a creek or rattle in the entire car, which is impressive given that I live in the city.  For a 300hp car and my lead foot, gas mileage is quite impressive, averaging 26 miles per gallon highway.

Pros — Fast, Corners, Fun to drive
Cons — Expensive Tires

Outstanding performance. But can't put the 300 hp to
the ground. Traction control was going off up into 3rd
gear. Great handling and solid brakes. Good quality
and appearance. Very comfortable. Lots of cool
electronics. Fun to drive. I drove it with an automatic.
It desperately needed a manual. Overall an amazing
car.

Pros — Performance, quality, comfort, looks
Cons — Needs more grip

I like the fact that it is twin turbo and has 300bhp/300tq bone stock.  I also like the 6 speed manual transmission because it shifts very smooth and unlike the 328i, this transmission was built in Germany.  This is a very good car that is very fun to drive.

premium package
sport package
comfort access
etc.

Pros — twin turbo, sport suspension, and doesnt feel like a 4 door.
Cons — $1600 for a set of tires :(
