2001 BMW 325 Reviews
| “Best In Its Class” Reviewing:
2001 Used BMW 325i
The 3 series BMW has always shined, and always has been a class leader. Excellent interior and exterior features as well as plenty of room inside. Amazing handling with good pickup for a 2.5L I6. Good on gas, only downside is that is requires high grade fuel. Car is a blast to drive, and i am very proud to be an owner of this vehicle.
Pros —
Good gas milage, Great looking interior, outstanding performance. Great re-sale value
Cons —
Repairs and upgrades are pricey,

| “Excellent Design, Some Build Quality Issues, Great Handling” Reviewing:
2001 Used BMW 325ci
Great car, only 184 hp, but is quite quick in the mountains. Comfortable back seat, good ride, decent stereo, good ergonomics. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a lower-end sport/luxury coupe. Just make sure you read about potential parts breaking.
Pros —
The handling with the sport package is quite good, but still very comfortable around the city. Gas mileage averages over 30mpg on the highway and around 22-23mpg overall. The five speed transmission hasn't given me any hiccups and shifts very smoothly. I personally find the E46 BMW one of the best looking 3 series produced.
Cons —
Research online what goes wrong, because it has for me. The interior trim falls constantly and must be re glued, the FSR in the climate control went out at around 70k miles, the water pump died at 80k miles. Fortunately, there is a wealth of online information and a lot of DIY's out there.

| “Enjoying The Ride.” Reviewing:
2001 Used BMW 325ci
Have had the auto for only one month and have enjoyed each second of driving. The auto hold the road like a coat of paint. The drive is quiet and tight. The controlls are very accessable from the controll seat.Love the heated seats in the winter. The power is amazing for a 6 cyl, watch out small block eights. |

| “Bimmer” Reviewing:
2001 Used BMW 325i
An awesome all around car. Unfortunately it was declared a total loss after becoming one with a tree. Nothing more fun than blowing the doors off a Civic with an annoying muffler.
Pros —
A joy to ride, brand recognition, passenger safety, haterrrs :)
Cons —
Costly maintenance, could be faster, haterrrs :(

| “Sporty Yet Comfortable Ride” Reviewing:
2001 Used BMW 325i
I had been looking at 325s for a while at the time I bought this (2004) and none really caught my attention. I passed by this one and had to stop and take a look. Excellent condition, tinted windows, sports package (conforming seats, sports steering wheel, larger rims, sportier tires). They had just got it on the lot (still had some subs of the previous owner they had to get out). All the paperwork was in order (every invoice from every service they'd had done), the leather was in great condition and the previous owner must have been my exact proportions because every mirror, all seat positions, steering wheel position, *everything* fit like a glove. I drove it (not expecting to buy it) and the sales girl had me go in to talk about it. She and the finance manager were friends, the sales girl was new and needed a sale by the end of the month (I found out about this all post-sale) and another salesperson already had someone interested in it and coming back the next day. I hadn't played it cool at all (since I wasn't expecting to buy it) and was very much "oh, wow, that is so awesome, I love it!" They worked a tremendous deal for me where the financing for it was only $100 more a month than the lease on my Saturn, and I actually got to build equity in it. Not only would I recommend it to a friend, after 3 years of ownership I sold it to my friend when I found the M3.
Pros —
Very nice styling, if kept maintained very little went wrong with it.
Cons —
BMW parts are expensive. Expect a hefty bill.
