Can you say "Beverly Hills 90125"?
I've had a ton of fun with this ride. 186k miles now and the car drives like a champ.
Pros: Solid ride, no loose noises for having so many miles.
Cons: The top is expensive to replace.

What all small cars should be like
I've been a fan of the 80's BMW's for a long time. I bought it with a lot of problems and have been slowing fixing it up. The car handles better than a lot of new cars out there and with a few touches here and there the E30 chassis is a stout performer on autocross and track days. The A/C still blows cold and its 20 years old.
Pros: handling, looks, power
Cons: need to fix the control arms...

E30: Best BMW Bargain?
E30s have a well deserved repuatation for longevity and reliability. Engines, eta or i, run 200,000 miles without a rebuild with ease. Transmissions are equally as strong. While the entire range is now 17 years old or more its difficult to find examples that have been maitained properly and are rust free. When cared for these cars are deceptively good all around performers and are reliable too. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as I find E30s quite good looking as they are classic BMW, especially in contrast to today's Bangle designed cars.
Pros: Low asking prices, excellent build quality, performance, style
Cons: Parts prices, timing belt replacement needed every 50,000 miles

BMW's ROCK
Personally I love this body style and they say it is one of BMW's Best handeling chasies, and they are just fun as hell to drive.
Pros: Easy as hell to park, quick, and reliable
Cons: Older cars need work, and just require more attention than new cars
1988 Used BMW 325i:
Drift machine
Great car with endless of possibilities
Pros: Handles well
Cons: Old
