| “Not Bad For My Frist Car!” Reviewing:
1988 Used BMW 325is
For a car thats 20 years old, and has 242000 km+ on it, it still drives well. This car still pulls hard and handles well! Its full of gadgets, which is surprising when you consider the age. Its great on gas, and its a joy to drive. Silky smooth straight six, with rear wheel drive. What more could you want?
Pros —
Fast, handles well, fun to drive, looks good, fairly realiable.
Cons —
Brakes are a little weak, can be a handfull in bad weather.

1988 Used BMW 325i
I've had a ton of fun with this ride. 186k miles now and the car drives like a champ.

Solid ride, no loose noises for having so many miles.
Cons —
The top is expensive to replace.

| “What All Small Cars Should Be Like” Reviewing:
1988 Used BMW 325is
I've been a fan of the 80's BMW's for a long time. I bought it with a lot of problems and have been slowing fixing it up. The car handles better than a lot of new cars out there and with a few touches here and there the E30 chassis is a stout performer on autocross and track days. The A/C still blows cold and its 20 years old.
Pros —
handling, looks, power
Cons —
need to fix the control arms...

| “E30: Best Bmw Bargain?” Reviewing:
1988 Used BMW 325is
E30s have a well deserved repuatation for longevity and reliability. Engines, eta or i, run 200,000 miles without a rebuild with ease. Transmissions are equally as strong. While the entire range is now 17 years old or more its difficult to find examples that have been maitained properly and are rust free. When cared for these cars are deceptively good all around performers and are reliable too. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as I find E30s quite good looking as they are classic BMW, especially in contrast to today's Bangle designed cars.
Pros —
Low asking prices, excellent build quality, performance, style
Cons —
Parts prices, timing belt replacement needed every 50,000 miles

| “Bmw's Rock” Reviewing:
1988 Used BMW 325is
Personally I love this body style and they say it is one of BMW's Best handeling chasies, and they are just fun as hell to drive.
Pros —
Easy as hell to park, quick, and reliable
Cons —
Older cars need work, and just require more attention than new cars

| “German Engineering At Its Best! Not Pricey At All And Doesn't Have Any Gimmicks.” Reviewing:
1988 Used BMW 325i
The E30 3-Series BMW, great cars, not pricey today, and have plenty under the hood. It is the end of the more boxy looking BMW designs which to me look much better than the E36 style that follows it, and it remarkably light for what you are getting. You want a fun car? A car that will stick to the road but has a tail end that is always down to play? This is the car you need then.
Pros —
Quality construction, good amount of torque and horsepower, sexy, pretty cheap right now
Cons —
Twenty year old car, costs a bit more than the Japanese cars to upgrade.

| “The Most Fun You Can Have With All Your Clothes On.” Reviewing:
1988 Used BMW 325ix
Introduced to the North America in 1988, the iX suffered from poor sales due to its cost (at $33,000, it was $1,000 less than an M3) and . The reason for the exorbitant pricing was that it came with every option available to the E30 chassis fitted as standard. All '88's came with two doors and a manual gearbox which means that it is a shed load of fun in nearly every situation. My car has Bilstein Sport shocks, H&R Sport Coils, a Jim Conforti engine management chip and a full Supersprint exhaust.
Pros —
Handling, power, reliability, price, low weight, feel, stereo and quality. The only fully mechanical AWD system offered. Red Paint
Cons —
Lame fuel economy (30 mpg on the highway is horrid for a 2900-lb car), people who ask if it's an M3, pre-pubescent 15-year olds who rice out E30's. Rust. The fact that an automatic transmission is available, repair costs if the PO didn't maintain it. Red Paint
