1981 Honda Civic Reviews
| “Rocks My Socks Off!” I love my car - it's so much fun to drive! It goes pretty hard for its age, beautiful gearshift, reliable, so pretty much never needs work. As a 5-speed, it keeps up well with the traffic, and is quicker off the line than many equivalent newer cars. YAY!!! Woot!
Pros —
gearshift, reliability, good looks, zippy performance
Cons —
little bit more power would be nice - soon to be attended to

| “Economical Transportation” My first car. I loved it. Bought it for $900 and drove it into the ground. Finally walked away from it and left it at the junkyard. Had to install home lightswitch to operate heater fan. Small hole in passenger side floor. FWD rocked in the winter. Handbrake turns are the business! Intstalled big ol'6x9 speakers in boxes in the hatch (more bass in your face!)
Pros —
Cheap on gas, hatchback for carrying your stuff. Fun to drive. Cheap parts from junkyard when in need of repair.
Cons —
Hmmm...it's hard to find fault with your first car when you score a gem like this.
