A big comfy car that felt like a smaller sports car. 100+foot burnout with the 5.0 V-8 and only 60000K on it, 4 speed auto/overdrive, fully loaded. Gas pig if you are hard on the gas, but good on the hwy. Good reliability, but bad for rust

Pros — Fast, Quiet, comfortable, burnouts......
Cons — Gas pig, rust easy, hard to park

I used to own this car. It was a while back, but I still remember it clearly. VERY FAST!. I remember once my tires chirped in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. It was a 4 cylinder turbo charged engine. It was just as fast as the V8 version.  It was nice and roomy on the inside and muscular looking on the outside.

Pros — All
Cons — None. I don't buy cars that have negatives.

I got my T'bird in 1990 for 5K and it was in showroom condition. It has about 42K miles
on it and I haven't had to do any major repairs on it other than the usual kinds (breaks,
ect.)
It still performs great and the pick-up is tremendous, this car literally runs out of the
gate.
Great handling, comfortable, and good on gas, even with the prices today.
I've gotten it banged up a bit, and she isn't as pretty as she was, but neither am I, so who
cares? Only lately she developed an oil leak that I found out is the main seal and I was told
it 's a design flaw and I'll have trouble finding someone to fix it, but as long as it holds I
could get another 30K miles. Not bad for a 22 year old car.

Pros — Good gas mileage, great handling, great pickup
Cons — I've had some starter problems and it ate up batteries until they figured it out. That's it.

This is the most comfortable car I've ever driven, although she has some problems, they're all age-related (rusted frame, floor and rocker panels)

Pros — Strong motor, 22 and still running strong
Cons — miserable fuel mileage (7-12 mpg city, 18-20 highway)

She died at 330,000 miles at no fault of her own. It was me the driver that caused her death. She still runs, but it is not safe to drive her with a large chunk missing from the frame. I was the second owner and did a lot of work on her over the years. Eight years of daily driving put 190,000 on her. She was a very good car and I miss her everyday. I want another 1986 tbird.

It replaced my '84 Turbo Coupe and has been a member of my family ever since. Drives like the proverbial rails and good power/economy. Great comfort and looks.
