1988 Toyota MR2 Reviews
| “1988 Toyota Mr2”
Mid-engine, RWD, light, spunky, has a lot of potential, cheap, easy to work on, So many things I want to do to it.
Pros —
Cool, real, sports car for two. Good MPG (dependind on how you drive)
Cons —
Only two seats, not a lot of room for audio or much of anthing else.

Performance - You cant get anything that handles like this car for the same money. Brakes not quite so good in the fact that they try to kill you when you use them. Accelerations isn't blistering but some would say that 7.5 seconds to 62mph is fairly quick. The twin cam engine growls in low revs and screams once you get past 4800rpm.
Pros —
Handling, looks, sound, price
Cons —
None

| “Mr2” alright car to be honest. rear weel drive so is fun as hell in the wet holds like anything in the dry and the removable roof is nice when the sun occasionally comes out. Full leather interiors comfortable and clean the main problem with the car is it is prone to rusting
Pros —
fun to drive and good in summer
Cons —

Quick, Handles well, Good Gas Mileage, Unique

Dated looking, difficult to service.

| “My First Proper Car” Small, nippy, excellent handling, and a proper configuration. This is an excellent starter car for someone who loves driving (rather than journeying)
Pros —
Small, light, handling
Cons —
Slow by today's standards

| “Japanese Ferrari” I loved this car. Only children could make you sell this car. Most fun I had with a my clothes on in a car. What can I say? You can't argue with physics. Mid engine, rear wheel drive, small, light, powerful car. There was nothing like the feeling of being pushed around corners by the weight of the engine and the wheels driving the chassis. Awww yeaaaaaah. This is the car that made me feel like a 10 year old boy driving it. You can't put a price on this feeling. There is no better car under $10K.
Pros —
Mid engined, supercharged, rear wheel drive, glass t-tops, leather, mags, high revving, torquey engine. Go-kart handling. No BS (like A/C or power steering)
Cons —
NONE
