1996 Chevrolet Corvette Reviews
“1996...best Of The C4 Generation Particularly In Lt4 Configuration”
1996 CE LT4 Coupe. LT4 @ 330HP is known to be conservatively rated. Many LT4's come in north of 360HP and will outperform %75 of newer LS1's. Not to be overlooked is, the C4 Corvette when released in 1984 was proclaimed to be; "The best handling production car ever produced" A beautiful car that still receives admiring glances.
Corvettes never fail to impress and this year is no exception
“The Best Of The C4's - Lt 4, Collector Edition”
I've owned a total of 14 Corvette, mostly Mid Years and early C-3's, while those vintage cars get lots of looks the LT4 Engine and C4 handling makes you forget them if you really are going to drive the car. 27,300 miles currently and still near perfect. Many are available at pretty attractive pricing and I have to believe the LT4 motor will become highly collectible over time.
SMALL BUT FUN
I bought my '96 Vette 2 & 1/2 years ago when it had 19,500 miles on it. I've driven it over
4,000 miles, primarily on short trips and suburban driving. It handles extremely well. The
only objection would be "road noise." But, hey, this is a true sports car. Hence the driver
shouldn't be looking for quiet!
