This car was owned, driven, and hated my great-grandmother. My great-grandfather traded a '58 Bel Air for this, nobody knows why, and my great-grandmother inexplicably hated it until she died. Over-all its has been left in good condition, minimal rust (save for the trunk and gas-tank) and the original 235 inline six cylinder engine.

Pros: Very good on gas for how large it is, brakes well, steers and drives like a dream.
Cons: Its as large as a single-wide trailer and nearly impossible to park in a public parking lot.

I sure loved that car. I almost had my drivers license when I bought it.
My mother drove it home for me.  It was running pretty rough so when she parked it she was questioning my choice of cars.  This was in 1973.
I popped the hood.  The engine was a tough 283 V8.  I lifted the distributer cap and saw the rotor was bent to one side so I straighted it and closed it back up. I started the motor and waddaya know,,, I was sitting in the car and I couldn't hear the engine until I stepped on the gas a bit.   With the hood up and my window open too.
I closed the hood and drove it over next to Mom's 1967 Impala.
I had Mom come out to hear it run and she told me to start the car.
I had to open the hood to prove it WAS running.  8>))
A couple years later I just had too many cars around and a guy came by that wanted it.

Pros: This was a very smooth riding car.
Cons: Over 70 MPH the windshield wipers would sweep out, but they wouldn't overcome the wind to sweep back.
