the biscayne is an awesome car, i have a 59 2 door post and ive wanted one for many years, since i was about 5 years old. something ill probebly have for the rest of my life. just imagine how they made this car in 59, the imagination these people had to make such a cool car.
Pros:
the wings, the style from the side, the cat tail lights. all of it.
Cons:
nothing.

I owned a '59 Chevrolet Biscayne. It was so frighteningly strange it became the most memorable car in my life. Those fins...the fish bowl windshield...so big it needed a zipcode...even with a 235 six cylynder (and a slight grade, and a tail wind) I could coax it to 100 MPH- sadly the ledgend was not true- the rear end did not leave the ground at speeds over 100- I tried. I truly loved that car. Like all past loves you can never return: I sold it to a friend who abandoned it in a field and a tree is growing through it now. |
