1986 Honda Prelude Reviews
| “Not A Great Looker Or Fast, But Surprisingly Quick And Easy To Drive” There aren't many of these left out there, so don't bother looking into this car so much.
Pros —
Gas mileage, quickness, easy to drive
Cons —
Feels like you are sitting on the floor, limited power, not the car you want to be driving if you get into an accident!

| “This Was Maggie's Car” Bought this in 1999 with 190,000kms, automatic. Vehicle was hard to heat in the winter (possibly heater core) very badly rusted in the rear fenders and floors after the second year we owned it.
Pros —
Good on gas, good power (1.7 dual carbs)
Cons —
Rust is a major problem for these Hondas
|
| “Best Car I've Owned.” as mentioned, it was the best car I have owned for the engine was still good and the acceleration of the vehicle and turning is acceptable.
Pros —
The engine.
Cons —
the fact that it was starting to rust all over and it idled a little too hot.

| “A Great, Reliable Car To Get You From A To B” Honda were onto a winner when they designed this. Easy to drive, reliable, economical, and not bad looking either. The newer versions even come in a racy Type R. Ours is a great car to drive, but not too fast or flash.
Pros —
Reliable, economical, cheap to fix, easy to drive, cheap to insure
Cons —
A bit slow, a bit nana, a bit old.
