1993 Honda Civic del Sol Reviews
| “How My Del Sol Is” Reviewing:
1993 Used Honda Civic del Sol 2 Dr Si Coupe
i love the fact that my car was built by me and not the car manufacturer themselves. i've modified it to the point that it seems to be a completely different car. the car is awesome to drive (when it's running right) and after the turbo install, runs like a champ. it still needs some tweaks and tunes, but that's the way it goes with a project car that you love...the build never ends
Pros —
it's a convertible, a four-cylinder, and most importantly it's a honda!
Cons —
it's got some rust, no torque, some oil leaks, it's a honda

It easy to park. And have a really hot outlook. Save money in gas. Pick up is fast, for start up can't complain at all. Easy to handle, easy to find parts if there's something wrong. Even though it was old, but still had its power. One thing needs to consider of is, if you have friends, that's only can pick one of them up.
Pros —
Easy to handle, save money in gas, easy to find a parking spot.
Cons —
It's a 2 seaters, whoever got a lot of friends, which won't work

VTEC. Those four letters have stood for something very important to everyone from young tuner-heads with too much testosterone and a thirst for adrenaline to the junkies who create these machines at Honda. It means 7,200rpms of rev-happy, clutch smoking fun. The D16Z6 in my particular del Sol was a custom built engine and came out of a civic in Japan with just over 8,000 miles on it. It was thrown into this chassis with a rebuilt transmission and a stage 2 clutch to put the fury to the pavement. Along with Neuspeed lowering springs, KYB shocks, Skunk2 Camber Adjustable control arms, a Corksport rear tie bar and a little bit of custom interior work, it is now a pocket rocket capable of handling some of San Diego's gnarliest roads. However, this car does without quite a few of the usual amenities, including air conditioning, more than one air bag, anti-lock brakes, or a stereo. So your ride will be hot, rough, and not very safe if you are a butter fingered driver. Wrestling the steering wheel towards the general direction you'd like to go typically will get the driver around the corner whilst leaving a large trail of smoke from the howling front tires behind. Not very suited to long freeway journeys, as the ride, seating position, and lack of luxuries make it tough for anyone but the most hardcore petrolhead to stand it.
Pros —
VTEC power and excitement, positive clutch engagement, makes mincemeat out of the corners, great for when the weather is nice
Cons —
Squeaks, Rattles, Clangs, No A/C, No Radio, No ABS, One Air Bag, Everyone's headlights are right in your rearview...etc

| “I Rebuilt This Car From A Wreck” Reviewing:
1993 Used Honda Civic del Sol 2 Dr S Coupe
I basically cleaned every part on this car and can take it apart and put it back together no problem. My pic of the car are in the photo album. The car when i got it was wrecked. I had the frame stretched back and did bodywork on the car with some help from the painter. The car has an R34 Skyline bodykit, 17in low profile tires, and tons of other stuff done to it.
Pros —
One of a kind. (only 75,000) made and in the US. Complemented everywhere, Convertible without the sound of wind resistace of a convertible. Quick, gets 35city/41highway, reliable, easy to fix.
Cons —
Use to have many but Ive rebuilt it to have none

Always wanted this car, have it for 7 months and love it. Having the top down is nice and gets the heads turning more than ever. Looks beast but is a sleeper.
Pros —
Physical looks, great on gas, plenty of space in the trunk.
Cons —
No space to store stuff or move big things, loud vehicle and wish top was electronic.
