2007 Honda Accord Reviews

NIce car. Fair amount of torc for a mid level car. looks
more like a feminine car than the older models like the
2001.  Gets decent fuel economy and hasn't had any
necessary repairs done to it. Brakes are solid so you
can stop on a dime.  Interior is nice but isn't as
feminine as the exterior.  Radio isn't great but it is
stock. Overall this car can be beaten, but isn't bad at
all. It's great to put the pedal to the medal when you
hit the highway.

I've read a lot of complaints regarding the Accord Hybrid and how it doesn't get the same mileage that the Civic or Camry get. Well, neither of those have a V6 or anywhere in the vicinity of 253 hp. This car will get very good gas mileage, particularly if you drive a lot of highway miles. And for the power that it provides, there is no match.
Honda announced today that they are no longer making the Accord Hybrid. It's true that the way this car was designed, the electric part only aids in helping along the V6 gas engine (which probably doesn't need a whole lot of help). Though the electric does aid in the low-end torque quite a bit.

The cylinder shutoff is what really provides the mpg improvement over the standard V6. And it looks like that system will be in the new 2008 Accords.

This car rides great. Despite a slight shutter in the transition between the engine shutoff (when stopped at a light for instance) and engine reingaging, there is no complaint about the feel of the ride. It is very quiet and the seats are comfortable.  This is the EX package, which is basically all the options on the standard Accord.

Overall, for the amount of power you get, and the above average gas mileage, this can't be beat. I was able to get mine for $27,900 (well below invoice price). Plus there is a $1,300 tax credit for this model. By the time I add those up, I could have spent the same amount for the standard Accord V6.

This a fantastic car to drive either short sprints or long journeys.  Acceleration is very impressive and brakes work very well without being too clingy.  It handles curves like my BWM.  It's a beautiful car to look at and even better in style then the 2008-2010 models.  Solid build.

The only issue I have is the basic stereo with 6 CD changer is poor in sound quality.  Also, they need to shock resist the CD's better because it tends to skip when I hit bumps in the road.

I absolutely love my car. Acceleration is off the chart for a mid-size with the V6 and manual 6-speed. It runs very strong while cruising easily holding it's speed on most hills. Car feels solid with no squeaks, grunts, clunks or other odd noises. Fuel mileage isn't as good as the 4 cylinder Accord but it's definately worth having the V6 if you want that extra power for passing/merging. Styling is great with little compromise inside and out. Most controls are within reach without having to lean forward (I'm 6' tall and have the seat all the way back).
