It is pretty quick with very good top end. Braking is great for a 2 disk, 2 drum car. Handling is sweet and the car sits low on the road with no extra modifications. Interior is nice and speedometer is interesting because it is fully digital and colored. Gas mileage is good and better than many out there. It is a fun car to drive.

Pros — Great to drive.
Cons — Not too roomy.

Best pickup in it's class! This truck is a great overall mid-size truck. If you want a nice looking, good performing, solid truck for work or for yourself, and you don't want to spend over 20K on a new car, then this truck's for you. I have one in silver which I got for 18K. Although it could use more power since it's only 4 cylinder 2.7L, the engine it does use is a WORKHORSE, and has been used overseas in industrial and commercial applications for several years. In China, they've had these engines driving belts that pull massive quarry loads. I have made a few modifications to increase overall hp. I also threw out the small tires it comes with and added larger, more robust looking tires. The ride on this truck is excellent for a truck. The access cab has seats for two people that are good for short rides. I use my access cab as extra secured storage, but when I need to drive more than one extra person I can fit two more in the back. This truck is a beauty! The Toyota truck quality is still in play with this truck. The interior looks awesome, and well built...unlike Ford Rangers or Nissan Frontiers. The MPG is incredible for a truck this size. Besides price, this is why I went with a 2wd Access Cab 4 cylinder instead of a 6 cylinder Taco. I get 20-21 city mpg's, and 24-26 highway mpgs on this truck. In conclusion, if you want a beautiful looking truck inside and out, of good quality, with a comfortable ride, a workhorse of an engine, a truck that will last for a loooong time, and you don't need to tow heavy trailers or do off-roading, then go for this Tacoma.

Pros — handling
Cons — underpowered

Reviewing: 2006 Used Honda Civic Si Coupe

Fun to drive, cant beat a coupe and 200hp stock. Handling is great, stops on a dime. gets over 30mpg. Hondas are great for fuel and maintenance.  Have not had any problems.  Had a few rattles and squeaks.  Nothing like 8500rpm and you gotta shift when it blinks, Plus its a 6-speed

Pros — The looks and power
Cons — only can mod it so much

I love this car. It has great handling and the car is reliable because it is a Honda. The only rattle in the car right now is the glove compartment shakes every now and then. Honda did a great job in designing this car. It looks nice and clean cut. I would recommend this car to a friend because of its reliability, performance, and the fact that it it is just fun to drive around. The car gives great gas mileage so you can travel around a lot more. Especially with gas prices so high.

Pros — Fun to drive.
Cons — Not the mosy powerful car in the world.

The Civic is a very pleasing and practical economy
car, but no more.

Straight-line performance is adequate. The 1.8-
liter engine needs to be kept above 3000 rpm for
best results, although with a 6800 rpm redline it's
pretty flexible. At town speeds below 50 mph, there
is rarely a power deficit, but you will wish for more
power on the interstate, especially above 80 mph.

The 5-speed gearbox is good, with a relatively
positive feel and low effort but long shifter throws.
It does not match up to the 6-speed available in
the Si. The clutch has a very short travel, which
results in some rough starts until you get used to
it, but is low-effort enough that stop-and-go is
easy.

Handling is the car's strongest attribute. The
steering is extremely light, but precise and
communicative. The suspension offers excellent
body control through bumps and a taut, but not
harsh, ride. Like any front-drive car, consistent
understeer is the only thing happening at the limit,
but if you drive at the limit you should not have a
Civic. The stock Michelins are biased toward a soft
ride and should be replaced with something better,
although I have not.

The excellent handling and lightweight feel make
the car very satisfying in city traffic. I notice this
most when I drive rental cars; after my Civic, they
always feel heavy, ponderous, and reluctant to
change direction or stop.

As usual with economy cars, there is a fair degree
of both engine and tire noise on tap, although wind
noise is unusually absent even above 80 mph.

Braking is adequate with the 4-wheel discs on the
EX. (I would not want to buy an LX with its rear
drum brakes.) The pedal will fade with repeated
hard stops, and the ABS kicks in a bit too quickly.

The interior is quite roomy for this class. Seats are
firm and fairly comfortable, although not up to the
standard of the Accord/TSX/TL. The interior
materials are good for the class, but cannot match
up to those used on larger and more expensive
cars. As is typical of Honda and Acura, interior
parts have a lightweight feel that may bother those
used to Mercedes-Benz solidity (for example),
although the actual build quality is good and the
parts are very durable. My car has an unfortunate
rattle from somewhere in the moonroof area which
I have been unable to isolate but feels otherwise
very solid.

Thoughtful Honda touches include plenty of
closeable storage, two power ports, and a well-
placed auxiliary input (right next to one power port;
EX only) for the stereo. Strangely, there is no
sunglass holder. The moonroof (EX only) only
slides; it does not tilt for ventilation. The driver's
seat is height-adjustable and features adjustable
lumbar support.

The two-level dashboard is the car's most
controversial feature, but I like it. I love the digital
speedo above the wheel, although a redundant
analog speedo would also be helpful. The large
central tach is nice as well. Secondary controls are
typical of Honda in that they are relatively intuitive
but feature many buttons and look a bit cluttered.

The gas mileage is quite good. Tanks have ranged
from a low of 19 mpg (1- or 2- mile city trips for
the entire tank) to a high of 42 mpg (driving at 50-
55 mph on the highway). Typical mileage in my
almost all city driving is about 27-28. The car has
required no unscheduled maintenance and only two
oil changes as scheduled maintenance.

I would definitely recommend the Civic to someone
looking for a driver-centered economy car,
provided they understand it is not a luxury or
sports car and will not feel or perform like one.

Pros — Excellent handling, good fuel economy, excellent build quality, comfortable interior
Cons — Noisy, brakes and engine only adequate, unexciting

my 2006 civic i-vtec is a good car. the performance is more than what i thought which makes it amazing beyond the class. Build quality is good and i have not a single problem until now. This car cost me only a little fuel and can drive to 400km approximately for full tank, depends how you drive. service cost isn't that expensive, it's reasonable. my civic is fun to drive because it eats 6 cd with mp3 player, so you can have hundreds of songs in your car. The good thing is i never feel tired when once i drive for 3 hours straight. Overall, i like this civic for performance, reliability, efficient, and good looks

Pros — performance, looks, efficient, and fun
Cons — none

Very good car well built and reliable. performance is good for its class and the fuel economy is excellent. The car is fun and modern especially with its split level dash and digital speedo. It may be a little over priced compared to other cars in its class but with the cost of servicing being so cheap I believe it's worth it

Pros — good fuel economy and a fun car
Cons — a little over priced
