We got our 07 LT2 in April.ON THE WAY HOME from the dealership we heard a noise similar to the playing card in the bicycle spoke thing.I had an out of town trip that weekend so we took it back Monday morning and they tried the AC lines etc etc.Needless to say it has reared its ugly little head again. The wife was backing out the other day and I say oil on the carport. Its still on the factory oil, nothing has been touched.Like others have said, its beautiful to look at but it seems as if it is cheaply built.I am diehard GM but I will look real close before buying another.

Pros — Great looking, lots of space and towing capacity
Cons — Cheap construction at a premium price

Reviewing: 2007 Chevrolet Suburban LT1 1500 2WD

In the first 27 days of ownership the car has been back to the dealership twice for a roof leak.  The first leak was fixed but a second leak occurred.

The passenger side airbag wouldn't come on with a grown adult in the front seat.  After reprogramming the airbag still malfunctioned.  I'd added a leather seat cover only to be told that you can't use seat covers on the front passenger seats because it turns the airbag off and there's no way to program it to always be on.  Too bad I didn't know that before buying a model with cloth seats.

Its now going back because the window trim is falling off.  Don't know if this is normal either but the switching from V8 to V4 mode doesn't work continuously.  On cruise control, flat roadway, the display flashes to V4 mode for about 2 seconds then back to V8 and on & on it goes.

The body creaks (flexes?) from the doors & roof.  You don't hear it with the radio on but if you want a quiet ride w/no noise you're not going to get it...at least not in my car.

The vents, in the off position, still blow air into the car unless I change the setting to inside circulation.  Maybe that's by design but all of my other cars actually closed off the vents when I turned the knob to the OFF position.

It drives beautifully and its absolutely gorgeous to look at, the price wasn't terrible either but I either got a lemon or GM's quality is even worse than Ford's.

Pros — Beautiful to look at, smooth to drive.

Reviewing: 2007 Chevrolet Suburban LT1 1500 4WD

I bought the 2007 Suburban 4X4 after trading my GMC Envoy XL V-8.  Love almost everything about it but it's power.  I know it is a big vehicle, but it most definately could use some more "gidde-up."  Overall, I love my decision to purchse it, and it also has some nice affordable bolt-ons to spice up the appearance!

Pros — Automatic everything.  Even the automatic lifting rear door!
Cons — For a 5.3 liter V8, not much punch to get on the highway.

My 10th new Suburban since body change in '92. Always buy 2500, 4wd, with largest engine available, now the 6.0 vs the 8.1 that was in my '04, which is no longer available.  I'm getting the same fuel economy as I did with my 8.1 without the POWER! It is the greatest disappointment! Obviously, it doesn't pull as well. The new exterior is cool, I like it o.k. I also wish they had not made the slide hitch so high up on the back...it takes a more severe drop hitch ball...like 8 inches. Feels a little heavy and sluggish as compared to the former.  I'm not too heavy on gadgets although I do like the remote start device.  I'm sure I'll get used to it...just bring back the BIG Block!
