comfortable, roomy, and much more upscale than previous models

Pros — lots of room, better gas mileage, bose sound system
Cons — still bad gass mileage, could upscale the plastic to actually wood, should have metal door handels inside instead of cheep plastic ones

We loved our 2002 Burb but the new 2007 is such a luxurious improvement.  The ride is
awsome and comfort is the best.  There are a few annoying things about this model.  For
starters if you have several kids in carseats be aware that the LATCH positions in the 2nd
row are center and passenger side, blocking the fold down access to the 3rd row!(and only
1 LATCH spot in  the 3rd seat)  There is no longer a cargo net and it is not avaiable after
market either.  The rear entertainment screen is low and blocks the drivers rear view in a
big way and if the kids are watching a movie Mom can't play a CD!  (bad design) I could
have saved money and had a better system by going for aftermarket entertainment.  The
visors have been altered and are nowonly one piece so sun is not blocked as well as on
older models.  I hink they have forgotten that mostly LARGE families buy these things and
we need more options in both back rows.  (Heck many kids are in car seats to 80 pounds
now!)

Pros — Comfortable, handles like a dream
Cons — Bad child seat LATCH positions, no cargo net, lame rear seat entertainment system

We got our 07 LT2 in April.ON THE WAY HOME from the dealership we heard a noise similar to the playing card in the bicycle spoke thing.I had an out of town trip that weekend so we took it back Monday morning and they tried the AC lines etc etc.Needless to say it has reared its ugly little head again. The wife was backing out the other day and I say oil on the carport. Its still on the factory oil, nothing has been touched.Like others have said, its beautiful to look at but it seems as if it is cheaply built.I am diehard GM but I will look real close before buying another.

Pros — Great looking, lots of space and towing capacity
Cons — Cheap construction at a premium price

In the first 27 days of ownership the car has been back to the dealership twice for a roof leak.  The first leak was fixed but a second leak occurred.

The passenger side airbag wouldn't come on with a grown adult in the front seat.  After reprogramming the airbag still malfunctioned.  I'd added a leather seat cover only to be told that you can't use seat covers on the front passenger seats because it turns the airbag off and there's no way to program it to always be on.  Too bad I didn't know that before buying a model with cloth seats.

Its now going back because the window trim is falling off.  Don't know if this is normal either but the switching from V8 to V4 mode doesn't work continuously.  On cruise control, flat roadway, the display flashes to V4 mode for about 2 seconds then back to V8 and on & on it goes.

The body creaks (flexes?) from the doors & roof.  You don't hear it with the radio on but if you want a quiet ride w/no noise you're not going to get it...at least not in my car.

The vents, in the off position, still blow air into the car unless I change the setting to inside circulation.  Maybe that's by design but all of my other cars actually closed off the vents when I turned the knob to the OFF position.

It drives beautifully and its absolutely gorgeous to look at, the price wasn't terrible either but I either got a lemon or GM's quality is even worse than Ford's.

Pros — Beautiful to look at, smooth to drive.

I bought the 2007 Suburban 4X4 after trading my GMC Envoy XL V-8.  Love almost everything about it but it's power.  I know it is a big vehicle, but it most definately could use some more "gidde-up."  Overall, I love my decision to purchse it, and it also has some nice affordable bolt-ons to spice up the appearance!

Pros — Automatic everything.  Even the automatic lifting rear door!
Cons — For a 5.3 liter V8, not much punch to get on the highway.

My 10th new Suburban since body change in '92. Always buy 2500, 4wd, with largest engine available, now the 6.0 vs the 8.1 that was in my '04, which is no longer available.  I'm getting the same fuel economy as I did with my 8.1 without the POWER! It is the greatest disappointment! Obviously, it doesn't pull as well. The new exterior is cool, I like it o.k. I also wish they had not made the slide hitch so high up on the back...it takes a more severe drop hitch ball...like 8 inches. Feels a little heavy and sluggish as compared to the former.  I'm not too heavy on gadgets although I do like the remote start device.  I'm sure I'll get used to it...just bring back the BIG Block!

This is my 3rd suburban. Got the LTZ trim because I love buttons and toys. I have 6 kids and am not a big fan of the Ford SUV's. The interior is spacious and well equiped. The road noise is more suprizingly a little more than on my '03. I think it has to do with the tire selection. She seams wider and more agressive. New body style is classy.

I LOVE; the remote start/ remote lift gate/ automatic folding center bench/ the almost un-noticeable cover that comes up with the sunroof on the lower left & right sides to minimize wind noise/ other small attention to detail/ the automatic fold in mirrors so I can feel safer about parking at the game or going thru the car wash/ the heated center bench/ List goes on...

NEED'S IMPROVMENT; the bose stereo, it could use a small subwoofer and choice of seek or perselected stations on the steering-wheel control center, I own 3 other, '03 or better, SS's and an LT model Chevy's and they all seam to have one thing or another that bug me about the stock Bose system's (but I am picky). / the Curbside assist is anoying but you can turn it off.

I have only owned for about a month so this is about all I can say for now.
