The acceleration, braking, and handling are all adequate for the price you're paying.  If you want better in all catagories...get the SS.
No repairs have been needed and there are no noises, but water seems to get in behind the door panel.
Interior design is good enough for me...not too fancy, but the exterior isn't exactly my style, but it's not ugly.
It gets decent gas-mileage.  Usually around 20 or more per mile.  No extra mainanence has been needed aside from scheduled tune-ups.
Not a whole lot of fun but a very practicle car.

Pros — A/C is great.  Seats are comfy.  Automatic start
Cons — No tape-deck.  Not a whole lot of back-row leg room.

Performance- it kicks ass. enough said. 5.3 V8 niggas. if only it was real wheel drive though
Build Quality- its a chevy. so its solid.
Apperance- a super sleak interior interior. Black on black.
Cost of ownership- bought it for 15,700 with 42,000 miles. it gets decent millage because of the displacement on demand
Fun Factor- 0 to 60 in 5.7 seconds? is that fun enough?

I would recommend it for sure

Pros — It is real quick and it looks good
Cons — its front wheel drive

Reviewing: 2006 Used Chevrolet Monte Carlo LT 3.9L

Ever since Monte Carlo came out with the new body style in '06, I knew I had to purchase one... The LT 3.9L has the same performance levels as the SS except it lacks the SS symbol on the exterior. Over All this is a great one to two person car.

Pros — The performance levels are excellent!!! Great Stereo system options!!!
Cons — This is not a family vehicle.. Difficult to put a car seat in the back

5.3L V8 with 303 Horsepower. How can you go wrong with that. It also has GM's Displacement on Demand shutting off 4 cylinders when they are not needed. Helping save a little in the pocket on gas.

Pros — I love the V8, lot of power
Cons — Its black, it gets dirty to quickly

I love the car and just wish this alert would finally go away.  I have had tire valves replaced, key fobs have been replaced, antennae has been replaced, remote starter has been replaced and now awaiting parts for monitor system.  :: Sigh ::

Pros — Sleek style
Cons — Continual alert of "tire monitor system that needs servicing" which is still an issue.

Reviewing: 2006 Used Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS

I purchased the car used at a Mercury dealer with only 6,000 miles. The car is flawless and performed beyond my expectations. I average 21 mpg city. Haven't traveled on any long trips so highway mileage is unknown.

Pros — Power, mileage, comfort
Cons — Tire monitoring system annoying, very restrictive exhaust.

Got this Monte in August of '06 with 16/17k miles on it.  Now sitting at about 48k miles.  I've
only put about $900 into her.  Had exhaust work done in July of '07, installed two 12"
Kenwoods in the trunk with a 400 watt amp, drop in K&N filter until I get around to making a
custom intake, 7 color LED underglow, various other little things all through out aswell.  It's
the details that count.

Pros — I love the look, and the looks I get, plus it can hold it's own against most other cars.
Cons — Not many, tend to scrape the front bumper on some roads, but that'll just get worse if I
drop it and throw on a body kit.
