2007 Ford Five Hundred Limited AWD
This is a very room, comfortable car. The seats are quite comfy. Complaints about the power and styling are unfounded; the CVT helps acceleration, and just yesterday, somebody asked me if it was an Audi. Mileage has been around 20 in the city and mid- hi- 20s on the highway.
Pros —
CVT, rear-backup signals, excellent safety package, smooth ride
Cons —
For larger drivers, center console too close to the accelerator pedal, causing leg to rub on console.

| “Greatest Awd I Have Owned!” Reviewing:
2007 Ford Five Hundred Limited AWD
We now own 2 Ford's and we r very happy with both. The best move I have made is buying this 2007 Ford 500. It is great. It has so much room inside and drives like a dream. I only have 1300 miles on it but can not wait to take it on vacation this summer. I am very pleased with the power and gas mileage. My 500 came with the nav system and 6 cd changer and the sat radio is great (so tired of hearing radio stations talk to us). My husband has a Ford truck and it also drives great WE R BOTH SO PLEASED. Get a chance drive the 500 and u will be hooked. |

I have 6,000 miles on mine at this point and am very pleased, overall have gotten 22.7 mph and as high as 30.7 mph on one tank strictly highway driving. I have hip problems and the seat gives me sufficient height and distance adjustments to make it comfortable, have driven mine 12 hours without any major discomfort. Handles well in the snow and at high speeds across I-10 through Texas. I highly recommend that you do not add Fords wind deflector for this vehicle. Design is bad, snap on installation with only 4 clips - mine came off at 80 mph coming across Texas, did mark hood some do to hitting there before it went on over the top. Was a scary experience to say the least. |

2007 Ford Five Hundred SEL AWD
We spent a long weekend with a new (<1600 miles) Five Hundred rental from Enterprise. The car is quiet, comfortable, roomy ... and on a very cold Pittsburgh weekend, averaged about 21 mpg. The engine had decent punch, and the handling overall was crisp--not the sport feel I'm used to in my Mazda6, but not soft & sloppy, either. Hopefully, with the rebadging of this vehicle as a Taurus, and a more eye-catching look, it will get more attention. It deserves it. |

I have the AWD CVT version of this car. Both are wonderful. The car, if driven at 65 mph , will get 30 mpg reliably and up to 34 mpg with a good tailwind. It averages 25 to 26 mpg in mixed city/highway driving. |

I just bought a 2007 Limited 500 and it is by far the nicest car I have ever owned. It runs great, is super quiet, and has every feature I could want. The only knock people have on the car is the engine size, which is not a factor unless you are an 18 year old looking for a hot rod. |
