The picture here was the best from the net and the closest to the one I drove. I'm sure that this guy's SS is probably superb in every way.  The one I had yesterday had faulty wiring, some bad interior trim, the engine could've been cleaner, though it has a lot of power and a great roar.  I prefer the European classics & refinement over most of the American Icono-classics (I love old vettes, t-birds & pre 50's).  So I won't go into the minuses with this puppy.

Pros: Straight line power house.
Cons: You'll lean into the curves and ask everyone in the car to do the same like a bobsled team.

there's not much you can say about this car that hasn't been said about oil tankers--it's huge, powerful and takes a mile to stop. still, this is a fun car to drive as long as you don't have to turn or stop in a hurry. throw safety out the window, this is all about style. the car is pure character, from the throaty exhaust to the grandma-style guages. classic design lines from a time when cars were unbridled.

Pros: styling is classic muscle; V8 torque is unmistakable--pins you in your seat; parts are extremely easy to source and the aftermarket is huge; easy to find a mechanic; easy to work on; the trunk is huge
Cons: well, no safety features outside of lap belts. you're pretty much screwed in a wreck; turning or stopping at high speed is out of the question. this can all be upgraded, but costs for this can get expensive fast for quality parts, which you should always use. not a "set and forget" car.

I did 2 restorations of these, loved them both, miss them both. Braking sucked on the drums, but with disc upgrades, you can stop the monster.

Pros: Power to spare, very cool lines in the large unibody.
Cons: Pre-safety stuff, but it's a hot rod, not a volvo!

Has a 454cuin engine setting it up for pro street.
Almost have all the parts for 671 blower.
Now all I need is the time and money to work on it.
I will get some pics on here.

Pros: 454cuin
Cons: Cost money
