| “1964 Chevelle Convertible Ss” It's my dads car, 1/4 mile in 12.94 seconds, 355ci small block with dart sportsman heads, edelbrock airgap dual plane intake, edelbrock 750 cfm double pumper, 428hp 509ft./lbs. put to the ground through a muncie 4 speed and a 12 bolt posi rear with 4.56 gears that came out of a 1965 z-16 with mickey thompson sportsman street drag radials.

| “1964 Chevelle” Its a really well kept, '64 four door, one owner since 1965, 43,000 orginal miles, on a nice 283/ 2 speed power-glide tranny. still has plently of get up and go and gets around 20 mile to the gallon.

Helped rebuild the engine in my fathers 1964 chevelle. this is one of my favorite cars to drive. the car has a 327 for an engine which was bored out to something (not sure to what specifically). if has a four speed manual and will fry the tires forever. |

the chevelle is a solid chevy true version of what all chevelle's are famous for american muscle only draw back is the rear wheals can be only so wide when stock ,its not very aero dynamic and can howl at the wind at high speed but all and all I love my chevelle and have an elco and malibu v8 and would never get rid of them .I only wish more after market restoration would go as far back as the old 64's |
