2005 Used Scion xB Base
Excellent gas mileage, decent performance, and very economical. i have had 4 of my friends plus me in the car and it still operates the same. The VVT-i engine is surprisingly peppy. I bought this car specificly for looks and gas mileage and it is money well spent. Now that gas is 4.00 a gallon i couldnt be happier on my choice one year ago.
Pros —
gas mileage, apperance, resell value, and its a toyota!
Cons —
Sound levels at highway speeds, power.

Scion has created a car that is amazing to drive and so much fun. I
Pros —
Fun to drive.
Amazing handling. Extremely spacious interior. (Better than 08) Awesome braking. (70 - 0 in about 3 sec.) Design is extremely unique. Interior setup is very clean. Not aerodynamic
Cons —
Lacks performance.
Slow acceleration. Not a great car if safety is a big issue. Does not withstand any kind of impact. (Very crushable) Not aerodynamic. |

no cruise control, and i wish i had gotten the standard, not really a con, the auto tranny works great, just a personal preference...

2005 Used Scion xB Base
Great car, it's fun to drive and it is quite unique. I have wanted one ever since I first saw the Scion Concept car and as soon as I turned 16 and got my license I was dreaming of when I could get one. Now 32,000+ miles later I am still enjoying my box.
Pros —
Great gas mileage, plenty of people room, enough storage for an entire dorm room worth of stuff.
Cons —
Slow; not a performance machine by any stretch.

2005 Used Scion xB Base
Ok. It might be ugly and remind you of a refrigerator or a toaster, but this little thing can get up. We've got the tires, the exhaust, the rims, the system. Everything. The only thing it's missing, and this will be added soon enough, is the turbo. And it's a 5-speed manual. For being so small, it's got some pretty big balls.
Pros —
Lots of room. Tight turning radius. Phenomenal handling.
Cons —
No cruise control, and the aftermarket plug-in is on recall.
