2005 Saturn VUE Reviews
| “I Love This Suv!” Reviewing:
2005 Used Saturn VUE Base
The first time I drove this SUV I was in love with it. Mine is a 5 speed manual transmission and it shifts beautifully. This replaced a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier 4 door that died at 72000 Miles.
Pros —
Great handling. Excellent sound system. Great cargo space. Seats were EASY to "fold flat". Interior is stylish and functional with all imortant controls within EASY reach of the driver's seat!
Cons —
Suspension is very tight.

| “Gets The Job Done” Reviewing:
2005 Used Saturn VUE Base
This is a FWD with the Eco-Tech 4 Cylinder Engine. While it won't burn up the road, the engine has adequate power for everyday driving. Gas mileage is good for a vehicle its size at 23mpg in town and 28mpg on the highway. Interior is spacious, and the fold down rear seats are nice. Interior trim feels cheap and has occasional rattle issues. Stock Bridgestone tires were terrible in the rain, hydroplaned all the time. Have since replaced with Toyo Eclipse tires which are a HUGE improvement. The electronic power steering is nice in parking lots, but is too sensitive at speed.
Pros —
Inexpensive, Reliable Drivetrain, Adequate Power, Guages look cool
Cons —
Interior feels cheap, rattles. Electronic power steering too sensitive at speed.

| “* * Great Mpg, Great In Snow, Who Needs 4 Wheel Drive ! * *” Reviewing:
2005 Used Saturn VUE Base
This car handles well in the snow . . . don't let them sell you all wheel drive, you don't need it ! We drove it from Maine to Florida & back with 30 MPG ! The only thing they could do better would be to power it with a diesel engine! |
