The 4wd means you have masses of grip in the crappy brit weather and that bite to get out of junctions which the 2wd doesn't give you.
A great full leather interior, rear seats for the brats (or short journeys for adults) so you get all this with a 0-60 of 5.1 and a top of around 175.

Then add insurance? I only pay £510 a year, 35mpg as long as you don't floor it (which you will!) and will depreciate a lot less than that BMW that looks just looks every other BM.
