I really can't complain to much about this car, especially comparing it to my 1993 Cadillac Eldorado. It may to have the power of that v-8 North Star but the maintenace cost are way less and it doesn't have the domino effect when it comes to breaking down that the Eldorado had. I wouldnt take the Bonneville to the strip but it has enough power and manuverability to get the job done out in the streets. The ergonomics inside are fantastic, especially when I can change the radio station from my steering wheel. When I roll down the street you know it's me with that exterior styling that is site for sore eyes!
Pros:
Handles and drives as good as it looks!
Cons:
Makes punk suckas hate you!

Good acceleration for being such a heavy car. Car rides well and haven't had a problem with it yet. Gas milage is decent and overall is a blast to drive. I'm the third owner and the car has 110000 miles and is still running well.
Pros:
Decent performance, and syling is great
Cons:
Average gas milage, large vehicle

Well cause I wash it every 5 weeks and sometimes still isnt very dirty it is shiny. Quite a few parts are poor quality. I am a detailer so I'm very picky about it. Most of the time fun to drive.
Pros:
seats 4 passengers
Cons:
since pontiac is going bye bye end of 2010 might be hard to find parts even though i have found parts at parts stores for any vehicle

Majority of parts are low quality, and all gm intake maifold gaskets on all new vehicles leak after so long. The tranny needs tune ups every once in a while i think too or just put high perforformance stuff in it. It looks great when i wash it. Ha ha I'm a detailer.

Performance: Great! It really goes when you hammer down the gas pedal and it sounds AWESOME! Thank god for factory supercharged V6 engines! It handles great and it grips the road quite well!
Pros:
Good looks, comfortable interior, sunroof, gas milage, factory superchagred V6, handles great!
Cons:
All the electrical stuff which I heard costs a fortune to fix and the big ol' Traction Control button placement.

I've driven the car for 23,000 miles in the last year (120-143K) and I've only had to put a bearing on it. Acceleration is really close to that of my Trans Am. Gas mileage is around 22 city, 27 highway up to Fargo, and 31 highway down by St.Cloud/St.Paul.
Pros:
Acceleration, Braking, Handling, Appearance, Fun
Cons:
Heated seats - The seats bend too much and the heating coils break after about 5-10yrs of use.

i love the car it drives great very comfortable. i have about 170000 miles on it just rebuilt trany, alot of minor things but parts are expensive!!!!!! overall not a bad ride |

I have had my bonne for 6 months and had a few small problems. Left rear window regulator, hard shift trans, and replaced both front hubs. The car has 135,000 on it and it still gets the gas mileage on the window sticker, 28 on highway and 18-20 in town. The car has alot of power to smoke the front tires stock but I am looking into some mods. But frist I have to solve the trans problem. |
