1997 Plymouth Grand Voyager Reviews
| “Great Van” Reviewing:
1997 Used Plymouth Grand Voyager 3 Dr SE Passenger Van Extended
I love the van, but it is just that, a mini van. It is great for hauling around the family. It can tow with the 3.3L V6. The only problem with the van is the headliner is falling down. The AC still works great. Oh, the driver's side window no longer works. Makes for a pain at the drive-thru.
Pros —
Room, ride
Cons —
It's a mini van.

Pros —
Carries lots of people and stuff.
Cons —
Not responsive and bad gas milage.

| “It Made It This Far....” Reviewing:
1997 Used Plymouth Grand Voyager 3 Dr SE Passenger Van Extended
Not a RELIABLE car, exactly, and oddly, we like it very much. It is 11 years old, though, paid for, and still running. At 135000 miles, haven't replaced the transmission when it seems all other Chrysler vans need it. We have replaced the water pump every two years; the leak can cause the serp belt to slip off, which we have also had 3. Blown head gasket at 60,000 miles. Love all the features, the quad seating, great for kids and long trips, but the electrical is slowly failing, a/c compressor fell off last year. Would recommend getting any Chrysler minivan WELL inspected before purchase!
Pros —
Comfort, ease of use, mileage.
Cons —
Unreliable, but relatively cheap to fix!

| “It Gets Us From A To B, But Looking Forward To Replacing It.” Reviewing:
1997 Used Plymouth Grand Voyager 3 Dr STD Passenger Van Extended
It was probably a nice van when it was new - I'd probably buy the same make & model again,
Pros —
Holds the whole family, we have it paid off, gets decent gas mileage considering it's a van,
Cons —
broken tilt mechanism in driver's seat, A/C and heat only work on full-blast, sound
system is out |
